Well this is my first post, and I was just curious if I was the only guy that owns an authentic Silvia? :p
Well now to my car:
It's a 1992 Nissan Silvia N/A. It's my second car, the first was a 1992 Nissan Skyline GTST. But it was involved in an accident, I'm only sixteen.
Great condition, box stock xcept for an aftermarktet suspension that was on it when I bought it, lowered and damn tight.

Mods: Put a N/A RB25DE into it, 17' wheels, and Sony sound system.
The sweet part was the price, only 5000nzd. :)
Like it?

Very nice. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/happy/bigok.gif
I'm envious. I have to do expensive conversions just to get your car and it still won't be authentic. :silly2: Keep up the excellent work, tho.

two years ago I had an '89 Silvia Q with the CA18DE, and had it converted to a SR20DET by a local shop in northern japan for about $4000. I got a really good deal cause they just totalled they're 400hp 180SX race car, and didnt have time to put it back together, cause they had to get there competition 1100hp Skyline ready for some big race coming up. I used the car to drag race and drift down by the sea port, but one night things took a turn for worse, and a miata spun in front of me, and the only way to avoid him was to go over the curb. Well i messed the car up pretty bad, ended up selling it for $2500 (wish i didnt)and ended up with an Integra type R, then sold that for a Celica GST, and the tranny went out, and by that time i was too close to leaving Japan i didnt get anything else..
Well i am going back to Japan next Sept. for a few years, so this time around i plan to get a Silvia K, and fix it up, and when it comes time i will take the car apart and ship all the goodies back to the US and put them in a 240SX..

Because having the car shipped over will be more of a pain and cost more than packaging and sending it it peices. Shipping the car not only has the shippers fee, but a couple of Bonds, and taxes too. Besides i would rather not drive on the right side in the left lanes.. NOW i would live with it if i get an R32, but now we're talking MOTOREX fees.. So all in all, i think it might just be easier to part it out. Now when i say take it apart, i mean all most everything. Hood, fends, front, motor, tranny, emblems, anything i have added to the car, and so on. Some of the smaller things, like head lights and stuff that i can fit in boxes will get shipped for free with my house stuff, so the most costly thing would be the motor and tranny, andn i'm told that only runs $400 or so. Then i can get back to the states a buy a 240SX with a lot of miles and worn out engine for $2k or less.
