Well the model is finished. It's a simple kit to build and has taken me just under 2 weeks to complete. I think overall it's a nice kit, maybe not as detailed as some, but what you get is pretty decent and you can add more detail should you wish. I built it almost straight from the box, except for the seat belts. Paint was Halfords Grey Primer, Zero Jet Black and Zero 2K clear coat.
I am happy with the kit overall but I know I could have done a little better. There are some areas that need improvements, but as I have another 2 of these to build (Fina and Gulf liveries) I will attempt to put right the small errors I made. Any comments, questions, or criticisms are most welcome. Thanks for looking...

Superbly built model . Just a shame that it is the OOB because there are so a lot of mistakes what he did Fujimi :frown:.

It still makes for a reasonable finished model though if you can overlook the few mistakes with the kit and it's not such an expensive kit

I agree but thats because I am not a rivet counter but that said the pe for the nose is horrible as is the little vanes for the front.i have decided cos the gulf requires these parts to scratch them and glue them as pe is touch and go if it dont fit right.

The Loctite version didn't have to have the nose parts fitted and now you've just mentioned it I actually forgot to fit those little vanes on the front :banghead:

And when you do depending on the type it uses I found to get it to half decent fit it has to have an high angle, so I might just scratch them out of thin styrene and glue them in place before painting, same for the nose pe,just use thin styrene and glue and putty and sand to look like its part of the car.
The front nose pe is far too long also so can be corrected with a diy part.

I bought the Fina and Gulf cars and I really like the kits but I did not notice until I saw one built the the tire size looks off and makes the nose look high. I found a combination of Tamiya and Hasegawa group C tires that make it look better.
