The title may sound pretty stupid but according to the option sheet for my truck ,2008 Silverado w/5.3, it has an engine block heater and the weather here lately has certainly necessitated using one.But for the life of me I can not find the plug to allow me to plug the heater in.I don't know if the previous owner ever used it or not so I'm going on the assumption that the cord is most likely still tied up in place where ever the factory put it so could someone please explain to me just exactly where this might be?I have looked and looked but have yet to find it so maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Make sure it has a block heater.
Or You.
Might try to find the block heater where it goes into block and then follow cord to where it ends.
Good luck

Look under the battery maybe tied to ground wire.

If you can't see a power cord hanging down somewhere you'll most likely won't have a block heater.
