Additional key for FIAT 500

Hi - I bought a FIAT 500 Pop, and they gave me 1 key fob. I called two dealers, and both want $250 for another one.:frown: Both also said it would take several days to get the key fob.

One dealer says he needs to see my car to verify the VIN before ordering. The other dealer says he needs my credit card number, but didn't mention the VIN. Both also said they couldn't just make a key.

I did find a card with the Electronic Code and the Mechanical Code written down. Can I find a locksmith who can make me a duplicate that would cost less?

No you can not.!!
Inside a Fiat key there is a microchip.
You have to order a original key at the dealer.
You also need the blue card with the electric code on it.
The dealer most program the key into the car with your electric code.
