Speedo Probs

So randomly, I changed my oil tonight, and when I got done, I took it for a little joyride. Well, right off the bat, I noticed my speedometer wasnt working, and neither is my odometer. I checked my cable, and it seems to be all tight and ready to go, but I still have no speedo!!! Any ideas?

you probly pulled it out of the tranny when u did the oil change

pull it all the way out of the tranny, then pull the cable out of the tube a lil then put it in the hole turning it while u do it then u should feel it lock in make sure its as far down has possible then push the boot down around it . it might take a few times to get it, oh ya an dont trip if ur check engine light comes on

Yeh you probably just have to push it in all the way.
