I HAVE A 2004 CHEVY G3500 6.0 my genisys tells me my crankshaft sensor is bad to replace it i did and the van will not start need some help

You may have a crank sensor code, I assume, but other issues can cause this, wiring to and from the sensor, do you see cranking rpms on the scanner?

Remember these are 4-wire sensors. Make sure it has 12 volt power for the sensor heater. If the old sensor had burned wire you may have blown a fuse.

Make sure the crankshaft sensor are line up correctly.
