Ok, I'm looking to buy a CRX. My 89 Prelude got caught in the middle of a 7 car pileup on the interstate :frown: Anyways, it's been about 3 years since I did any real reading about CRX's. I'm not sure what people are paying for CRXs these days. Well, here's the specs:

91 CRX Si

Engine-
1995 SOHC VTEC D16Z6
Generic Short-Ram Intake - Black Chrome
K&N style filter
National Muffler custom 2" exhaust piping
3A Racing Muffler Tip
NGK Spark Plugs
Crane Cams 8.5mm Spark Plug Wires

Suspension-
Aerospeed Adjustable Coilovers 0-4”
Tokico Illumina 5-way Adjustable Rear Shocks
Tokico HP Performance Front Shocks
Matrix Upper Front and Rear Strut Bar
Matrix Lower Rear Tie Bar

Brakes-
Power Slot (Brembo) Slotted Rotors 4-corners
Carbon-Metalic Pads 4-corners
DOT 5 Silicone Brake Fluid
Rebuilt Rear Calipers, new seals, Painted Red

HP Racing Hurricane 17x7” Rims
Kumho 711 Tires - 205/40 R 17 Tires
Red Windshield Wipers
Clear Corner Signal Lenses
Clear Corner Bumper Lenses
Stock Fog Lights
Hyper White High, Low Beams, and Fogs

Looks like the Car has about 140,000 miles on it, and the engine has 90k.

The picture I have looks really good (see below), what do you guys think it would be worth?

$3,000-$3,500 would be a good price, maybe a little higher depending on how many CRX's are for sale in your area.

Everybody wants to make their money back from modding their car, but the fact of life is that you never get back anywhere near the amount of money you invest into your car.

hey everyone- im the one selling the car. you guys really make me out to be a huge asshole. the truth of the matter is, someone will pay it. im not trying to rip anyone off, or even make back all the money i put into it. for sure i can sell it in ohio for 6000, ive seen the cash here- i just didnt want to drive it home to sell it. maybe you guys wouldn't pay it, so be it- but not everyone is you. and thank God that people still think differently.

real thing is- even if it wouldnt sell, it doesnt matter, i have no problem with holding on to a sweet car for a little longer. im asking a high price, to filter out people that wanna bargin with it.

Make sure to save a couple bucks for some flat black paint and a razor blade to de-rice it.
