ok i just got out of school for the summer, gonna be a senior, and i need to look for colleges, i live in washington state, and if i have to pay, im staying here. i was wondering what kind of scholarships you guys who are already in college have applied for. im 3/4 korean and 1/4 black, so i think im in the double minority catagory. but my mom didn't go to college and i need a whole lot of advice, thanks in advance for you input.

Sorry,but as long as you have two arms,two legs,and a fully-functioning brain,The fact that you are in a minority does not mean that you are sufficiently disadvantaged to be able to justify a free ride through your education.Show a bit of backbone and pay your own way.In most countries thesedays,there are 'minorities' of every description looking to leech off the rest of the community,and genuinely disadvantaged people who can't get sufficient funding for their basic needs.Please,carry your share of the load instead of swindling the genuinely disadvantaged.

about youre minority comment, until i can walk into a shoe store, and get a refund without the reciept, instead of getting a white lady to do it for me, i'm going to use that to my advantage, for everyone one else thankyou for the links, you obviously don't have to deal with racism, so youre not qualified to call me a swindler, maybe its your ignorance that makes you think that every minority is trying to leech of the system, but im just trying to take advantage of opportunities that are given to me

look we could go on and on about this whole thing, i don't know you and you don't know me, and as far as im concerned we both have no desire to get to know eachother, im asking for advice, not for someone to tell me im a jerk, and a lazy sponger, so if youre not gonna help me out just don't post on this thread
