93 passat

I have a 93 passat. All of a sudden the air condition,heater, defrost ect has quit working. It just died. No fan noise or anything. Not to long ago my passat started stalling out all of a sudden and after much reasearch it ended up being a $30.00 relay. I am hoping that this current problem is some sort of relay. All of the fuses are good. Please help as this is my wifes car and it is getting hot in this area. Thanks in advance for your help and guidance.
