nitrous on my ctr

ok i hooked up a zex kit and am currently running a 65 shot on my b16b ... i retarded my timeing 2 degrees and put colder plugs in ... i flicked the switch in 3rd gear at 6700 and i felt a very very small kick when the n2o hit ??? y is this ... i thought it was supposta be a kick in the pants type of feeling or possibly put me back in my seat somewhat ??? i dont get it ... whats wrong?

i had the same shot on my stock d16 motor back in the day (before it blew) and the spray felt about the same as the vtec kicking in on the b18. It's only a 65 shot, so you cant expect be be thrown back a whole lot at least thats my experience with it. I only sprayed for about 4 months and decided to go another route. Shit now my turbo spooling is another story...

Anyhow let us know if you find anything else out. We were actually thinking of getting an ITR as a good reliable daily driver, might try to go the n2o route with that, or other possibilities are the Evo and new Sti.

what was the pressure level on your bottle like? i had the same prob with my zex when i first put it on,i thought it sucked for what i was told it could do, so i went filled the tank and sure enough it was way better.
