I was just comming out of the store...got into my car and it woudn't start. I tried three times, on the third try it kickd over. I just had a new coil pack put in it a few months ago b/c I was driving along when it just cut out on me. Do anyone have any ideas what this might be so I won't get stuck next time ?

Just because a honda doesnt start, does not mean its always the main relay. It could be many things.
spark plugs
spark plug wires
coil
igniter
cap
rotor
fuel filter
fuel pump
bad gas
starter
battery
alternator
ignition switch
and so on . . . .

:comprage1 But the way she describes it was it. That is what everybody else is having problems with his time of year. I had the same problem last year. The interior of the car get warm, solder joints on the relay difuse and the the car doesn't start for a couple crank. The same thing happened to my car.
It is really quite common with 90-93 Accords sane thing happened to my aunt last year nd she has a 92. So that would be the first thing I change

im going with the main relay also. costs about $20 at the dealership if i remember from when i had to buy one a couple years ago.
you can always check to see if your ignitor is in spec and the cap and rotor are not worn down. also check to make sure the plugs are not fouled.

Jackasssi....it happened one time last year. Jut left the car alone for about 20-30 minutes, went back out and it started right up. But this time it seemed different.

Im guessing that its the igniter. Replacing the main relay wouldnt be a bad idea if you dont know if its ever been replaced. Simple & cheap, may save your ass some day. First I would check tuen-up items:spark plugs, wire, cap/rotor, etc.
When you were trying to start it was it cranking over, or nothing at all?

If it happens again, turn the ignition with out starting and listen for the fuel pump. It should turn on for a few seconds then shut off. If you dont hear it the most likely your main relay is shit! I still think igniter:wink: or the tune-up parts
