turbo kit or supercharger???

i have a 99 civic ex, and im not too happy with the power im getting...i dont want to get an engine swap so i was thinking of a turbo or supercharger

which one should i get, i dont have a clue about them? will it be bad for my engine(daily driver)?? i got a manual tranny
