As some of you have read in my other posts, I have been moving. Well I was suppose to have been moving from one house to another house with my BF of 7.5 years (9yrs total as friends)but unfortunately there was a major change in plans. Put it like this, I am back home with mom's. He has major, major issues. He is very controlling and loves to piss me off. This has been very hard to deal with. To make matters worse, RedmanJD was sending me a head, because my BF was building a B18 for me, and the block, manifolds, pistons and rods, etc got stolen from the shop. He got another block, pistons, rods, etc and my head has arrived (thanks RedmanJD) but now he's using it against me.
While together we invested in many, many cars, So the Prelude is one that was in his name solely, but I paid for the car. He tries to take that from me and will not sign over the title. All of this because he can't keep it real. All because he keeps messing up and he knows I put alot of time any money into that car. So he uses it to keep us together. Mind you now, I let him have all of the other cars because I am sick of fighting over it. He has the 280Z, F-150 on dubbs, VW Bug, BMW, my Motorcycle (in my name and I paid for it as a gift for him) and my dirtbike also. Only thing I asked him to do is give me the title to my lude and get my civic running.
He has people watching me, literally. He feels that I should sit at home and pay half of the bills while he cheats and does whatever. Since I layed down some rules before I was moving into the new house (they were reasonable), he decided that we needed time apart because I wasn't having the cheating, lies, and stuff more and he knew that I was serious about it. He wants the kind of time where we are still together, but not living together. It's crazy and I am just miserable and don't know what to do.
Sorry so long, but I really had to vent.:frown:

I would treaten to take his ass to court for Palimony support payments.
I don't know if it's the same where you live as here, but here if you live together for more than 6 months you are considered a couple, your partner has access to your benefits (if you have some like medical/dental) and could also be claimed as dependents (if need be) now as "common law" if you split up you Theoredicaly have the right to 50% of all items obtained while the relationship AND can get palimony payments (if he makes more money than you, this is to enure the life style you have become accustom to, however if you make more don't bring this up.)
Soo in theory, saying all 8 vehicules were obtained during the relationship, you would be able to take 3 cars and 1 bike, along with 50% of all items gathered during the relationship.
I would contact an atorney for more details.
Cus If he were faced with the option of losing 2 cars OR 3 cars and a bike... what do you think he would pick ?
check on you local laws on "common law mariages" i'm prety sure every states has it but the time is different.

As of January 1, 1997 common law marriages are not considered a marriage in the state of georgia ... I think she might be SOL

ARE COMMON LAW MARRIAGES LEGAL IN GEORGIA?
If the common law marriage was established in Georgia before January 1, 1997 or was legally established in a state that still recognizes common law marriages then it is a legal marriage. (O.C.G.A. §19-3-1.1)
97 + 7.5 = 2004.5
relationship would have been established in 96 it would apply !

Same thing with my Lude. He only got it in his name because my credit wouldn't allow me to get anymore cars. At that time I had 2 cars and the motorcycle in my name. So I paid for the Lude and all the cars that were in my name are gone now.
