5 Speed manual Transmission Question (97 Metro)

Is there any way to get to this bolt without splitting open the transmission...

Got it without splitting open the transmission. With patience and luck, it could be done on the car but I was advised to check the clutch since I have over 180,000 miles on it. I did pull/drop the transmission and was I glad I did. The clutch, although it felt fine, was shot and ready to fail at any day. Luckily it had not damaged the pressure plate but it was about to do so.
