Does anyone know what an alternative to setting solution woud be. None of the hobby shops in my area have any and I can't order online. Thanks for the help.

I don't know if I could help you.

Besides the obvious microsol and microset.

Sounds like the only other option is water. :frown:

Microset is diluted acetic acid (vinegar) but I'm not sure what the proportions are, if you used straight vinegar you run the risk of melting your decals. Not much help but just some general info....BTW microset isn't what actually 'melts' the decals, Microsol is.

I NEW IT!!!!!!!

I was going to say you could use vinegar because microset smells really like vinegar.

I spilled a lot microset in my working area.

It SMELLED to the high heavens of vinegar. :bloated:

I didn't say it because I wan't completely sure.

I forgot but I think microsol smells a little like nail polish remover or alcohol.

I'm not gonna check by sniffing again.

I've already tried 70% alcohol and it didn't work, so next will be vinegar and nail polish remover. Thanks for the quick help. I'll post later with what worked and what didn't work.

Maybe the vinegar i used was old, but vinegar just made my decals less sticky.
