now here is the problem, the thing runs great but i noticed the temp gauge started going up and i smelled anti freeze. so i pop the hood and i find this hose coming off the water pump that isnt connected to anything and when i give it a good rev anti freeze will shoot out of it after it idles back down. i havnt really gave it a full inspection on were it goes but i took so pics so maybe you guys can help me out. i am not familiar with the dx motor. but any help would be appriciated.

just find your overflow tank, its right near the rad, and plug it in there.

the overflow tank line goes directly to the radiator fill hole. theres a little off shoot that goes to the overflow. that hose goes somewhere else, possibly to the capped off on the intake manifold right by the hose..

ya it DOES NOT go to the overflow , there was a stock line that was removed when they put the intake on i know for a fact that it goes where that cap is on the manifold, cause i did the same thing on my dx engine

Looks like the one that goes to the throttle body to keep it from freezing.
