Price of a D16 Vtec swap?

My car is too slow and I'm on a budget. How much should I expect to pay for a full D-series Vtec swap if it is done by a shop? Also, how much would a ZC swap cost and which swap do you guys recomend?

:boink: D series depends..but i know what you mean..so with labor and parts maybe 1500+...depends on what kinda civic you have now.. like if you had an Si..you might have some of the gear already needed...but ya and ZC is pretty good... its just not smog legal and there are more performance parts for D series engines... but ive heard happy customers from people about ZC's...
