v6 to V8 swap

Hey guys, I found an 89 firebird 305 engine for 400 bucks, i have a 91 firebird with a v6 auto trans, i was wondering what else would i have to get to swap the 305 in? How much would it cost overall because they have 350s for like 1200 bucks.

305's are not that great of an engine, and also you would need a new tranny, cause the bolt patterns are not the same for a V6 and V8. i'm not sure on price though

If it has the 700R4 tranny in it the 305 will bolt up. Just put a BIGBLOCK in it.
