So I was being followed tonight by a guy who claims that I came out of a parking lot too quick, and when I roasted my tires(which I didn't btw) I kicked up a rock and chipped his windshield. Anyways, beyond the fact that my car is lowered and I physically couldn't come out of the parking lot any faster than 1 mph, i was getting ready to take a corner I always hit at about 30-35. I dropped in second and started to let the engine slow it down a bit, but when I started around the corner, my tires(brand new as of today) broke loose and I lost control briefly. My car went into a four tire slide, luckily I can pull myself out of it due to many a nights of fun in the snow and ice. But yeah, getting down the the real point, I just took of my bald as fuck tires, and put on some coopers, but now it seems as though I have no control, or at least not as much as before. Also, at speeds of about 50+, it seems to wander one way and then the next. Never did that before either, I'm gettin really pissed off. Can't wait for the next 3 paychecks to come in so I can go get my real wheels. I'll be puttin on some Konig Absolutes in the graphite. I'll attach a pic...anyways, good night to you all, have fun with your cars, but sont get caught

well it just seems to be a function of cars with 17s that i have driven (and when I had Phact's 17s on my car) that they tend to follow the grooves in the road... but when you talk about you feel like you have no control... is it just the tires following the grooves, or something more?

The new tires I put on were 175/70/13. The sidewall flexes a lot, but I needed something to put on so that I could drive it safely until I could get my 17's. But yeah, its seems to wander, but I talked to my boss, (the owner of Perfection Tire) and he said that 90 percent of all passenger tires do that for the first about 1000 miles, just becuase theres so much tread on there, that it wanders a little bit.
