I need help matching an amp w/ subs?

I don't know much about car audio and i need help finding the right amp to go along with 2 12" audiobahn aw1200q subs. They have a 700W RMS and have a peak power handling of 1400W. What wattage mono amp could i use to get good performance from these amps?

That would be too much power, cuz audiobahn over-rates their subs. My Audiobahn subs handled 800 RMS and 1600 peak, but I only ran at most 450 through them at one time. If I were you, I'd get a 1000 watt, class d mono amp from Memphis, or an amp from Audiobahn to match the subs. Lower your gain and only run about 400 at most through them and they will hit pretty good.
