 I just fixed my 94 civic dx, it decided to spin in the rain on a bridge and hit all 4 sides...i'm now lookin into doing some engine mods. I have a cold air intake and tsudo fireball exhaust. i'm looking to do minor modifications to add hp, no turbos or anything like that, any suggestions?:dunno:

you can get an intake manifold from jg bullfrog i think thats there name has a cam and ecu and throttle body package i think it comes with ported head it supposedly up you hp up like 35 hp. if you were to do that you might wanna upgrade your clutch too. a lighter flywheel will help you rev quicker

Is JG Bullfrog a member on here or a company? thank you for the input, i'm not a motor head yet..i'm very interested though. Also another thing my motor is a 1.5L non-vtec. Hopefully I can still do some mods...next car i get will be more accessible to work on, this is just a start. Is there any webpages that you know of that have some parts that you are talking about or ones that would help, that would be great if i could get a couple, i will get pics of my car on here soon for you guys.

the dx motor is a waste to work on unless you plan on spending major cash.

JG Bullfrog is a company. but like i said, you wont wanna waste your money building that motor up, swap up for atleast the ex motor, or even the si if you can get ur hands on one.

Hey man. Whatever is around the house. strip the body down and you'll be on your way. It's free and the lighter you get it, the faster it goes. Who needs washer fluid? Or any other convenience item that makes your car wipe your ass?

100lbs removed from your car is about give or take 3-5 hp(feelin') or .23 of a sec. in your 1/4.

then again...it is a civic dx.

Like I said, i'm not looking to make a 10sec. car, I would just like to enhance the performance a little bit, so whatever helps i'll do. I don't have the money for the swap because i'm gettin ready to move out. So does the JG Bullfrog have a webpage that i can get or anything? I have looked into a billet aluminum crankshaft pulley for 90$ and I found a header for 289...any more suggestions?
