well anyways, my dads friends daughter is comin over from south africa to the states for like 3 months so we need something for her to drive around, so we found an 89 lx 4 door for $1500 ... both fenders are fucked up, damage on the rear doors, and the rear bumper is about to fall off ... it has about 182k miles. Anyways, until she gets here imma mob it to school cause the A/C works :iceslolan

thats if we get it though ... my das supposed to call the guy soon ... now i will know what the DX engine feels like compared to my ZC.

yea im excited about it even though its a piece and there isnt any parts I want off it ... its tan with tan interior.

I wonder if the DX engine gets better gas mileage than the SOHC ZC

i'd say look for something not that f'ed up it your spending that much on it.

jdm916tuner - he has a sohc zc with dpfi injection (mpfi coming soon) in a 91 civic lx 4 door.

$1500 is just what hes asking ... we probably wont end up payin that much though ... the engine runs fine ... but its got 182k on it like I said earlier.

And about that MPFI ... a friend of a freind has the hookup on a crx with a blown motor ... so hopefully I can get everything off that ... does ami have the parts list on her site?

I used to get 33-37 MPG (sometimes 40) with my d15b2...I get 31 or so now cuz it's getting pretty tired :(

dude and you said asking $1500 for an 89 DX with 70,000 on engine, replaced tranny, and the only thing wrong was the paint was faded on the trunk and hood was WAY too much. sounds like jer's bro (who we sold it to) got a good deal after all, huh? :flipa:

we just picked up a running 90 STD. body work had all been done, just needs paint. $800

i wouldn't offer that guy anything over $1000. hell, being in cali....he should be asking $500

we found an 86 accord dx 4 door with 291k miles for $500 so my dads gonna probably go for that ... one of the windows is broken though.

daymn almost 300k. window shouldnt be that much. Accord dx so its carbed..:)

my dad found a toyota trecel with a new engine for $1000 ... so were probably gettin that ... oh well it woulda been tigh to have another 4th gen lying around but oh well.
