Factory Remote Start Feature for '06 GP not working

Just wondered if anyone out there had any suggestions about trouble shooting the factory remote start feature on my 2006 Grand Prix 3.8 L Supercharged. When I press the remote start button on my remote, the headlights lights on the car come on and I can hear a clicking like the feature is trying to work but the car never starts. The car has no issues or hesitations when you start the car with the key. I recently changed plugs and plug wires and I have a engine trouble light on that I haven't yet gotten cleared after that work but I don't believe the issues are connected, though I can't say that with certainty. My car had set for a while and the last time I actually used the remote starter was last winter. It worked fine then and I had never had any difficulties before recently. Any suggestions where to start looking would be appreciated.

You have to clear all codes before the remote start will work....

As Tech II stated the factory remote start is disabled when the CEL is lit.

Thanks for the reply guys. Sorry for late reply but I've been under the weather for a week. Had the local Auto Parts store check engine cdes for me. Read P0069 Supercharger Inlet Pressure and P2229 Barometric Pressure Sensor circuit high. Cleared codes but CEL came back the next time I turned off engine and restarted. I assume they're same codes but haven't verified.. Only recent service I've done to car is I've changed engine and supercharger oil, spark plugs, plug wires, serpentine belt, and the two plastic cooling system bypass elbows out of block and intake manifold. I unplugged several electrical connections while doing these repairs an thought I'd plugged everything back in correctly. I guess maybe I was wrong. Any suggestions on where to look would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help and here's wishing you all a great holiday season and a very Merry Christmas.
