Hey folks,
As I've pointed out (probably ad nauseum), I'm a huge Mustang fan. One of my favorite Mustangs has always been the Saleen Mustang, especially the 96-98 Saleens. So when Revell released the S-351 Speedster..I was overjoyed, but I'm not big on convertibles so I thought I'd have to chop up another Mustang kit to put a roof on it. Well..not anymore!

You can get this from Scale Coachworks at Scale Coachworks resin kits (http://home.wi.rr.com/scalecoachworks/resinkits.html)
I've got 2 on order...one for a street car and one for an SR widebody conversion that's been brewing in my head for a couple years.

The only problems is...where can I get those Speedline wheels?

I'll be following this one closely. I saw this body on EBAY about a year ago and I loved it. But the auction had already ended. I tought it was a custom job. I did'nt know it was made by scale coachworks.
very cool and you will have a rare model. I will be ordering one ASAP.

Turbo...check out eBay and look for MPC Mustang. You'll usually find a good selection of the early Fox model Mustangs from MPC...everything from 79 Pace cars to SVO Turbo Stangs.
Try this link

It's not exact, but it looks similar...........
Anyways, thanks for the link, I may order one now.

You're right. I may use a set of wheels from a 1999 Tamiya Focus WRC that had met an unfortunate end during the build. I know they're OZ and 17"...but with they are very similar and the difference in scales (1/24 vs. 1/25) should work out prefectly.
Talking about this has made me want wo do it even more. Unfortunately...I'm going to be moving in the next couple of weeks....so everything is on hold. :banghead:
