I own a Mazda MX-6 94 I 'm planning on making some engine modifications for more speed and power. I need to know what would I use to maximize the cars total power.
The motor I plan to run is either gonna be the older MX-6 1st Gen turbo
manual
Or I planned on going with a 2nd gen V6 mtx(manual transaxle)

Which motor would give me the most power and what should I start with as far as Turbochargers, intakes- Intercoolers, or Exhaust is there any specific order on what you should start with?

If you'd like more power low in the RPM range, go for a smaller turbo. If the upper range is more your speed, go larger. A V-6 will offer you more torque, but most likely, a turbo 4 could easily be modded to twist out more ponies. I'd say if your car already has a 4, tweak it and don't transplant an engine if you don't have to.

Blah...screw the "big" and "little" stuff. Get some compressor maps and do it right.

Are you looking at doing it in stages (that's what I'm getting from your last question) or do it all at once?

Now I plan on getting the klze engine and a turbo for it. I plan on havin atleast 4 hundred horses in it before I start workin on the body. I'm doin it in stages those will be the only real big changes as far as the engine goes.

Being a four banger, I would suggest a larger turbo, but get a VNT. That way you can get more power in the low and high end the also have lighter tubines these days the greatly reduce turbo lag.

There are tons of little mods you can do as well to pump some more power out of the engine. Also look at your drive train, it isn't all about what the engine can do, you have to put it to the ground as well.
