Why don't I feel sorry for 2 idiots racing on public roads? The correct place for racing is the race track. What if they'd killed an innocent bystander or pedestrian or a woman pushing a pram? Any fool knows that speed kills.

They weren't racing anybody, the driver apparently was not skilled enough to cope with a fast right hand corner at a little used road (Saturday) located in an industrial park, and lost control of the car.
Walker was just a passenger.

We don't have "prams" here in the U.S., we have baby carriages.

Speed doesn't kill.
A person driving way over his head or not paying attention is a good candidate for the meat wagon 'tho.

Any car can kill you thats why you need a license to drive just the way you need a license to carry a gun because both can kill/hurt you or other people. A professional race car driver CAN make mistakes. Whoever has driven a proper supercar here knows that each one has a different personality, they are not easy to drive and simply unforgiving if you make a mistake, hence - traction control. Speed doesn't kill, suddenly becoming stationary is what that kills. So if Roger Rodas was speeding or not I don't care, but he should have kept in mind if it was the RIGHT PLACE to do so and if something goes wrong would he be able to control the car in that place.

As a race car driver he should have known that you are not supposed to be speeding or going sideways where there are trees and poles around. Thats why you dont see any trees/poles in race circuits or drag strips. So it was bad judgement from Rodas's part which ended up killing him and Paul Walker.
