today i was at school and went int my car between classes and was listening to my radio. so when it was time to go to class i started my car for a half of minute to charge the battery. whe i came to my car at the end of the day the car would not start. so naturall i got the jumper cables ad tried to start it . that did not help. all accessories work on the car and the car is almost chocking but will not turn over. doe anyone know what could be the problem? the car is a 92 g20

I hak the very same problem. After leaving my car in the driveway for a week and driving my gas gusler ('76 El Camino) I got tired of it and tried once again to find the problem. I checked the battery, the cables for breaks in insulation, fuses, and relay I decided to check my starter. Well, when I found it after about ten minutes of feeling around and found that the nut that held the cable onto the starter soleniod (the smaller cylinder on top of the starter) had come off and the cable wasn't touching the contact very well. I pushed the cable onto the post and it starter right up. It might take some time and messing around with it to get it to work.

Hope that helps.
