I changed the water pump and timing belt on my 99 Stratus with a 2.4 engine. As far as I know the timing marks were lined up when I put the timing belt on. Now the car will not start.

It WILL start if I unplug the cam position sensor.

What gives? Any help would be great

Thanks

I had kinda the same problem with mine when I did it, You say that the timing marks are on? I know that when I put my timing belt on mine, I had to take it back off and took three times to get the tension right and the timing marks correct. I would double check the timing marks. I also know that I took the coil pack off and or unplugged it, make sure that something simple and little didnt become unplugged.
