Rack and pinion steering parameters

Hi guys!
I'm currently studying Automotive Engineering and I want to design a rack and pinion steering mechanism for a university project. I will design the mechanism from the steering wheel up to the rack, so no tie rods and steering arms. I am missing some dimensions of the steering arms and tie rods, so I can't calculate the necessary rack travel and I don't know the forces.
I tried figuring out these dimensions myself using some data from my own car, however the size of the steering arm I calculated is a lot different from the rough size of the steering arm in my car (I can't precisely measure it).
So, just to be sure, I want to use some dimensions from an actual car. If you have some blueprints or a schematic of spindle-steering arm-tie rod, please help me.
Thanks!
