Hissing noise under exceleration???

I have 2 questions
#1
does any one get a weird hissing noise under the hood under exceleration...???????? Before all i heard was the intake sucking up little animals and small children now i hear is hissing sounds like the car isnt hauling azz like it use too
I just had a new engine and a whole new exaust installed @ nissan due to the cat choking up the engine and disintergating
My car has over a 1000 miles on the new engine and so its passed the breaking in period
wondering if that is the norm?????:swear:

mine has that hissing sound only when I hold the throttle body ope a bit...like during acceleration...or when I punch it....I have an injen CAI though...

let me ask you a question....on your engine replacement because of the precat how did you know something was wrong? was it dramatic engine failure or what? I am really concernd with that ceramic dust that comes out of that shitty design....

Headers and greddy exhaust should eliminate the precat though and all troubles right?

well i knew the car was a gonner once i had it for like 2 weeks i saw major oil consumption @ 650 miles (like 4 quarts) then i slowly noticed that at about 1500 miles the car was at the great hanjobs at nissan and so forth and so on i tiold them there was like an exaust leak they told me that its the way the intake worked ( i owned a supra priviousely so i was pampered) i was ok kewl they know what there saying since they had shirts that said nissan on it.

i went to court after numrouse gallons of oil dissapearing low and behold
i win a new engine then i still have the problem but the kicker was that it started to sound like a freeking missle that was getting ready to lift off then the oil light went on
they changed the sensor and told me the header was loose they tighted down the bolts then just as soon as i get home she is sounding like shit so i bring it in they put on a new header then the shit hit the fan then engine starting to blow out smoke like a tree huggers nightmare then after killing all the small animals from toxic poisoning
then it went for the worst then engine was bucking and kicking and died with in 24 hrs of me having it
then i got a new engine again and a whole new exaust

that f@$ckin sucks bro.....it is such an awsome car too...damn you got one of those unfourtunate"lemonspecv's" pun intended....I really feel bad...if i were you id go back to court and get a whole new friggin car....i cant believe nissan would do such a thing...did you contact ceo or cio of nissan?

i knew about the cat going bad for like almost 8 months already it was supose to be a very limited people affected i have a buddy who is up to date and knows the shit before it is out a lil insider stuff

but none the less i was stuck with my lemon spec v the second it rolled off the dealer floor
i paid dirt for the car I got it at cost i knew some on who works for nissan (infinity) and it was the second in newyork sold but i must say i love the red and black interior over the blah gray and black

so i plan to hook it up and then blow it up :swear:
or hold out till the new supra hits the US in like 2 Years more or less
then i will be in bliss:biggrin:

all joking asside i should of waited for te the z but the 6+ months waiting list was a bit much i was impaticent

i felll ya bro...but i drove that z for a week....it sucks...its ok drivability but i love that not so cramped cabin of that sepc...granted not much room in back seat but none the less im stoked on the spec...sorry bout your troubs though....sucks to hear a fellow spec v-er not enjoy his ride...
