The rear ends in S-10's and Camaro's are both ten bolts right? so does anybody know if the differentials are interchangable? If so would a tenner rear end hold up to a V-8

I think that a ten bolt tenner rear end would handle a camaro v8 but your guess is as good as mine. You will need a smarter person than me to answer that.

The rear out of the S-10 is way far from a bolt in and may still not handle the power if your engine isn't stock. Especially if you have a shift kit in the trans. I've beefed my rear end as much as I could and I still rip teeth off the ring or pinion gear on a regular basis. Save your money and buy a 12 bolt or (Yuck) Ford 9". They won't be cheap, but neither is a constant reubuild.... That rear is one of my next projects..... What you need depends on the power levels you expect to make.

if your not running like 500 hp then you could just buy some moser axles and a moser diff or and auburn unit with some richmond gears and be pretty happy. Otherwise i suggest getting a ford 9, thats what i did and it is virtually a maintence free rear end. I also have an auburn diff with richmond gears so it all depends on how much money you are willing to spend and how much hp you are running.

From what I've seen, even 400 rwhp will blow the stock 10 bolt. It is incredibly weak. Both Moser and Strange produce a bolt in 9" and 12 bolt for the F-body... At least I think both companies produce both... but I know you can get either option as a bolt in.

Depends on what year F-bod it is, For a 4th gen, IMHO, the 10 bolts are crap. Most of the guys I know have either swapped it out for something stronger or are saving up for one.
