Tranny Fluid

How do you check the transmission fluid in a '90 civic 4dr? My car's starting to shift hard (It's an auto), could changing the tranny fluid & filter help that? thanks.

O.k., I know someone here has changed there tranny fluid before, I just wanna know how to check it. thanks.

if it is an auto..there should be a dipstick.

I've looked and I can't find even a hint of where it's at. any ideas?

look between the radiator and the motor on the passenger side of the car. It's pretty far down (at least it is on my 90 hatch).
