ok, when i was heading out to get some gas, there was an orange probe that looked fairly stock looking... i couldn't even tell he had an exhaust until he turned the corner... he was in front of me. as we were going down the street i went right by his side, we revved, then we took off --- i completely annihilated him.... when we stopped at the next light he told me that his friend was in the drivers seat, and said he didn't know how to drive it.... he thought i had a v6 stick, haha.... so im like yea excuses excuses...
well on my way home from getting gas i seen the same orange probe and this time the other guy was driving. looked like he was waiting for me to come back, lol. then some other old 70's american car was also in view with a hood scoop on. then there was some fat chick with neons on in her cavalier.... all four of us were in the turning lane, i was in front, followed by the cavalier, american car, and probe was last in line. when we turned, we all step on the gas. the american car ,whatever it was, dropped behind after about 30, then the cavalier dropped out at about 40.... it was me and the probe. i was surprised, he was gaining and gaining car lengths.... at about 70 he caught up to me and i put on the breaks and he flew past....
i really know nothing about manuals, but this shows that a lot depends on the driver if the car is a stick. he really shouldn't have beaten me at all....

Gogo Probe :bigthumb: . Im guessing it was a GT. Imagine the shock of racing a 626 MTX with I/H/E (greddy evo and Hs gen V headers comming this wek thanks to graduation). Good kills nonetheless

i dont know if it was gt.... it may have had an engine swap though, or definately major mods. no way in hell a stock probe would have a chance against me :iceslolan
i wouldnt even come close to a modded 626, let alone a stock 626. those things are deadly fast. good luck with that!! i thought of picking one up myself, but im saving for my 12 sec car

My friend has a lightly modded probe GT 5-speed and it didn't do too bad. We raced for about 1/4 and I only beat him by a couple of carlengths. My transmission was cold so my car wasn't shifting at its fastest, but still.
