Lexus IS200 completed pics

Been finished with it for a while, just waiting on the site to come back up to post the pics. Turned out acceptable, although the paint is almost impossible to photograph. Depending upon the lighting it looks various shades of red. It was painted TS-8 over a basecoat of black (I’ll never do that again!). The paint is smoother than it looks...honest! :sly: The red is so translucent it just looks plain weird at times. Probably should have striped it, but was just glad to have it completed in one piece!

The red looks kinda dark, probably because you used a black basecoat.

Glad you all like it! Other than the paint job and cracked roof (both my fault) it was a simple build.

After two street cars in a row I think it's time for something with a rollcage! Maybe the PIAA Accord or '01 Subaru WRC will be next.
