Need help with exhaust system - intermediate pipe?

Hello! We have a 1992 Honda Civic DX 1.5L 4-door sedan. The other night, went to pull out of parking lot and suddenly the car sounded LOUD, like the muffler had come off. :confused: The pipe that was going into the catalytic converter was disconnected. Took it to mechanic friend to see what we would need, he says an intermediate pipe, 2 gaskets and the bolt set (with springs). He said it's good going to the front, which is a good thing. Just had the muffler replaced last year.

So I've been looking online for this pipe, but I get different results - I keep coming up with resonator pipe set. Can someone tell me what the heck I need so I can get this thing repaired? And is it a simple fix (i.e. that one can do themselves)?
