Repairing Pillars?

well i have a small predicament. went to work on my Accord a few days back and saw that both pillars on the left side were snapped :mad: dont know how but they were. anyway, i tried to glue them back together but that didnt work, the 2 pieces just kept separating. so my question is, how or what is the best way for me to rapair these pillars?

I've been able to glue and reinforce some, and I've had to replace others...

Whoa, how did they crack? My Accord ones seem pretty strong, the only car I had A-Pillar problems with is my Hasegawa Civic Vti Hatchback.

Anyways, is the roof bent in anyway? Maybe that's why they separate, you might be able to "bend" the roof to it's original position.

Very small pins, if you can find them. if not, a very thin, small needle.

I broke it on my Hasegawa Civic SiR :mad: :frown: :mad: :frown:

yes, the accord pillars are indeed very strong and rigid, thats the reason why they dontwant to stay coonectted. if youi look at the pillars of the accord, u will notice that they are curved. thats why when i try to put them back to the curved position, they just want to straighten out again. also i have no iudea how they cracked, just picked up the body one day and hey were broken :mad:

the syndicate= i have looked at the pillars more closely and i dont think i wil be able to find a needle thin or small enough to fit in the pillars, even thoughthey are rigid, they are quite thin.
any more suggestions?

A thin strip of metal behind the pillar to support it?

hmm.. might work, any ideas on where i can find a thin enough strip of metal?

Ah, you know those little metal pocket clips on pens, I'm sure you can find one small enough.

if i remember corectly, a while back there was a little How-To on repairing pillars, i searched and search and turned up nothing, can anyone help me in the search for this (if it exists)
