I SEE RED!.. A few pics of my Ferraris

Here's a few shots of my completed Tamiya 360 and Enzo kits!
I'm a little rusty so they are nowhere near as good as some of the other Enzo's and Modena's I have seen on this board. I gotta hand it to Tamiya!,Their Italian Red is a perfect match to the actual Ferrari Red!

As you can tell I had a little trouble getting the rear seams on my Enzo to match up :frown:

And yes the Modena is mine!  so I had a refrence to go by in the garage :iceslolan:

I can post some pics of my Die casts if anyone wants to see them!
Fire away .....I could use some criticism to help my model building.

I have an Revell F40 in progress ( man these kits are weak in the quailty department :bloated: ) I got some carbon fiber sticker kits for it
It's turning out good so far.

jeru your models are perfect looking. you've got my interest in another aspect though, being that I am currently trying to make some changes with my life... what exactly does it take now a days to afford a 360... anotherwords, what do you do for a living? any advise for someone young and "not so wealthy" :bricks1:

Tough question...., My family started a business and built it up over a 20 year peroid, Then sold it before the market crashed. We got lucky...

The best advice I can give is "Be your own boss'. The guy at the top is the one who makes the money.

Also choose your career carefully,
E.G. I chose to be a web designer; they make an average of 30,000 - 40,000 per year. The problem is, That’s all I will ever be worth, Is 30,000 - 40,000 per year. The guy who is selling the websites is the one who will make the money off me, And so on. The smart thing is to go into business for you.

Another obvious this is to pick something people need!
Don’t become a typewriter repair guy when everyone knows typewriter’s are on their way out.

Welcome to the model forum! :D

Nice Ferraris! I'm sure you'll pick up enough tips in here to make your 1/24 360 look just like your 1/1!! Most of us would die to have that kind of reference material...

And I'm sure we'd love to see progress pics of the F40, too!

I'm more interested in your car than your models!

Man you've got a ferrari in your garage. I wish I had one of those in my garages.

What do you do when people's heads turn to look at you? :iceslolan

Hey blueboost my aunt just got a job working for a plant doing human resources. Now she told me that if u go to college (I'm not sure for how long I think she said maybe just 4yrs) and get a Civil Engineering degree that u can start working for the plant she works for u'll start off at like $75,000 a yr. and then after 3yrs go up to 150k a year. Which is extremely well off for around here seeing as how the average anaul income is less than $35K. (I live in a small town in Northeast LA, pop. lil over 12,000 I think.) However I think u can proably make more than this in larger citys.

I'm only 17 and I'm thinking about going into this field so I'm about to look at what classes I need to be taking before I go to college.

Anyway just thought I'd put in my 2 cents.

:bigthumb: Much respect given to you on the advice you spoke of previously, I thought it was super insightful and honest. I am impressed at how humble you are while owning a 360 modena to which isn't very common. That same advice is something that I will definitely take to heart though it was directed to someone else and when I do make my one billion dollar mark I will definitely site you as a source of inspiration. By the way your models look fantastic, I still cant see the uneven line you spoke of in the Enzo, but who cares the paint looks good and it is a clean build ready for display. I hope to see more from you soon. Hey good luck on finding a job, better yet creating your own job. !

My wife was a Miami Dolphin's Cheerleader for 4 years.
Those girls are all dolphins cheerleaders.

Interesting piece of info: The girl on the far right is Tara. She was just in 2 Fast 2 Furious. She plays the girl in the club in the red dress who leads the fat guy into the back room, who is tortured with a rat in a bucket.

Sounds wierd but if you have seen the movie you will know what I'm taking about. She has a few speaking lines and is in Singletons next movie too.

Oh yeah, this is the pic. Sorry its so huge:icon16:

But honestly...great models and beautiful cars. I saw a whole bunch of 360's and 355's (even saw a couple of 550's and an F40) up close and personal....all I can say is you are one lucky man (who probably worked his ass off). :bigthumb:
