I think the '99 Max SE auto is around 6.7~6.8 seconds

No auto 99 Max SE does it no faster than 7.6 seconds on the best day. Closer to 7.8 seconds would be my guess. 6.6-6.7 isn't even achievable for a 5spd 99. The 99's put out less HP cause of more smog control. Test I've seen have 5spd SE's in 1999 at 7.0 seconds. That would make the autos possible doing it in low 8's

 well.....the tires on my maxima is p215/55/R16
...i was wondering what kind of size of rims will effect my perfomance........i mean...if i put a rim that`s too large, would it slow down my car? :flash: thx...

Well the wider tire the better grip your gonna get, but it is more friction. Yeah too wide is bad and too narrow is just as bad.

For 17 the best tire is 235/45/17
For 18 the best tire is 235/40/18
I think 18's look better on Maximas if you have the loot go for those ;)
