some advice on my new mods plz *HELP*

Hi, all im glad the forum is back up and running. I would like to get some advice on things i still need to get. This is a list of the things i just recently ordered and are all on their way.

-Magnaflow single catback exhaust
-cut-out exhaust pipe
-cold air intake
-Nology Powercore
-MSD Blaster 2 Ignition
-1" throttle body spacer
-Bosch Platinum 2 sprak plugs

Tell me what you think of what i got so far and what you think i need, my next check i am planning on getting racing throttle body and possibly racing pulleys.
But anywayz let me know what else you think would help me juice that cavy up!! hehe

what a bout a booster chip? ebay has them and some online stores. not exactly sure what they are called *sorry* but this is what i knwo about them.

by installing this chip it can and will incease your horsepower by 20.... and you can also buy off ebay a chip bank. which allows you to hook up 3 of these chips to your car which is sweet....

MY last 3.1 had a chip in it didnt that sucker move. im from canada i could hit 140 in 3rd gear goin up the highway on ramps down here in the annapolis valley...:bloated: was great, i could also destroy the 5.0 mustangs around here to but it blew up..

i got a new motor in august last year. and unfortunatly this one blew up 3 days ago... so now i have a 90 cavalier jus chillin in my drive way b/c i cant push it up the hill to get it into my garage...

dont buy a chip.... In most cases they dont do anything at all except up some timing and make it seem like your gaining hp when in reality its just taking some away from lowend and giving it to highend, etc... Their really a waste of money unless you get a real performance racing chip but I dont think they even make them for cavaliers so... Just my opinion..

Btw, you could add headers onto that list for real cheap.

Actually I forgot to mention the GM performance chip... its 900 bucks though heh.. but it would actually do something for you =) The jet chip wont do much of anything.

You got to wonder why they blew up?????

can someone tell me what fuel rails do??
Also can someone tell me if a fuel pressure regulator would give me much of a gain not having forced induction?

those two items are wrthless without forced induction or nitrous

fuel rails fuel faster into the cylinders. getting an aftermarker fuel rail would increase the fuel flow into ur engine cylinders, burning more fuel making u go faster. but like wut SolTheHoelessPimp said above, it would not do much w/ a forced induction of some kind (turbo or supercharger). this is b/c the car will automatically ajust the fuel and air (to an extent) to make the correct air/fuel ratio. so w/out a forced induction, the fuel rail would be useless. but if u still want one, there's a venom fuel rail here: http://www.highrevmotorsports.com/
