I'm doing car reports for TheCarPlace.com this week as a trial run because I expressed interest in the Automotive Journalism field to the guy who runs it and he told me to go out and find a car to review and send him a trial run. We are goin for a young perspective on the new car market.
So which should it be... Honda Element, VW Beetle Turbo/Convertible, Chrysler Pacifica or PT Turbo ??? Thanks in Advance

depends, if you're going for versatility and down right wierdness the Element hands down.
Fastest out of the 3 and fun factor then the beetle especially if it is the turbo S
maybe the pacifica but that seems like it would be more focused on the 25-30 year olds with families.

Ignorant Australian Question - What is a Element and a Pacifica? Some specs and photos if you could.

Element = body-cladding-covered box on wheels from Honda.
Pacifica = mini-mini-van from Chrysler, meant to fill price market below the normal sized mini-van. there was one at my school today, they're actually really nice inside.

I'd say Pacifica, looks pretty nice so does a lot of new concepts and vehicles that Dodge will have in the coming years also I think they are going to be the ones to bring back mass-produced Rwd sedans with reasonable pricing.

Thanks for the input guys ..keep the suggestions comin
and if u have any other car u'd like to see on TheCarPlace.com reviewed...lemme know and ill get on it :D
I was originally gonna go with the Element mostly because..im 16 and its geared towards the younger crowd. But alot of people have said (like many of you) that its ugly..and there is no point trying to change the first impression. But it would be kinda fun to drive and write about how people stared as you drive by haha. The element is still in the running for Youth Factor..
The Pacifica has it for looks..
but my mom also said that she has a good friend @ the Toyota Dealership in town so...im thinkin Mr2 with sequential manual shift...hm....

OOK!!! Todays' the day! wahooo!
I'm thinkin we're goin to test drive the Element and Pacficia..possibly the MR2 if we can realllllllly convince the friend of my moms. I mean we have bought toyotas from them for 50 years..they better let us take it out!
I'll let ya know which one is better
off topic a little.
If the Element was all one color..and all the "plastic" or "composite" as they tell me @ the dealer was painted body color like the PT Cruiser was after the first year of production..would it be better looking??
