my car:

90 integra gs
intake
full system (amp, 2 10" subs)
15" 95 gs-r wheels (28 lbs each!!)
blue ion color changing headlights (ppl assume im a ricer cuz of them :D )
Other than that im totally stock.

in the city where i live on friday and saturday night they disable the redlights so they blink instead of doing green,yellow,red so they are treated as stopsigns and people can race very easily.

1st race:
late 80s IROC-Z
we take off and he starts gaining on me as expected then he misses 2nd and i hear this mad grinding from under his hood and i just keep gunning it and get past him - OWNED :D :D lol it was funny, should have seen the look on his face

2nd race:
98ish civic lx with body kit, intake, exhaust, aluminum spoiler
i take off and pull on him HARD then after im like 3 car lengths ahead by the end of 2nd he backs off and i slow down and when he gets up next to me again i hear him get on the gas hard so i do the same and take off hella fast (starting out 4k rpm in 2nd is hella fast)

3rd race:
93 accord with i/h/e, body kit, lowered, bright orange paint job (90 lb asian kid driving)
i look over at him, point at his car, and laugh, cuz his camber is hella bad and his body kit is all flapping around when he drives. he rolls his eyes and revs. accords sound like ass with exhaust, maybe it was just his because ive never heard an accord with exhaust before (ppl only do lowering and projector headlights with their accords around here...). so i rev and its nothing special because all i have is a short ram and a drilled muffler so i sound even worse than him (i had a 91 integra with i/h/e before this and it was hella deep... not used to this whole drilled muffler thing yet :P ). anyway we take off and its neck and neck thru first cuz i bog my launch (1.5k rpm with no clutch feather) then i shift into 2nd and just tally up the car lengths i leave him by.

4th race:
97 civic ex with b16 swap, i/h/e, ecu, a little weight reduction (i talked to him at a gas station he pulled into and he was hella mad he got beat by a 90gs with only an intake plus a heavy stereo). we line up and take off, i NAIL my launch and get tration almost immediately launching at just above 2500. i get ahead and he backs off a little, then catches up to me slowly then guns it, then i gun it and start getting ahead of him rapidly so less than a second later he slows down again

5th race:
89 crx with intake, exhaust, and a 30 shot
this guy is a friend of a friend and hes been talking crap about me for a while and saying that he would beat me in a race and i was thinking that i was going to lose because his car weighs 600 lbs less and has nitrous. anyway we take off and i start gaining on him then he starts spraying and then catches up a little then its neck and neck then he backs off the nitrous and i start gaining again... he was like "u cheated" after we raced and im like "lol dork u just sprayed against a stock 1990 integra and lost, shut up" and he didnt have anything to say

6th race:
01 accord ex v6
stupid race.. not even one really. he revs at me and i can barely hear it cuz the newer accords are family cars.. i guess he saw the fire in my eyes and backed off cuz he didnt even go, i took off and he just went slow. then after im cruising at the speed limit (40) then he BLOWS by me at like 90 and im thinking gj dumbass go get arrested.

everyone but the IROC-Z and the 97 civic with b16 swap was a friend of mine so i am sure about what they have done to their car...

I had a 1990 GS that had a full exhaust and intake only.

After that, I had a b16 swapped which used the I/E from the old motor, plus a set of Comptech headers, and an ECU upgrade, similar to the Civic setup you mentioned.

I know for a FACT my car was faster after the swap, and that my car was about one-hundred pounds heavier than a similarly-equipped Civic.

The only way you beat the swapped Civic was a) he lied about his mods b) you're lying about your mods c) he is the sorriest driver on the face of this planet c) his motor is in the sorriest tune possible. Which one was it?

P.S., my last car was a 1997 Civic with the SOHC no-VTEC with CAI/H/E ignition mods and aftermarket piston rings...I blew away a 1991 LS, with more mods than you (lighter than a GS, I/E) by about 2 cars till about 80, when we shut it down. I KNOW my '90 'Teg with the b16 was a LOT faster than my Civic was.

Lastly, if that CR-X was an Si, that thing should've beat your car STOCK...much less a 30 shot.

crx was a dx and the 97 civ with the swap said he was new to driving a stick and bought the car as it was (didnt add it himself...)
