I saw 2Fast 2Furious yesterday (Fly's quick review - piece of shit! [but itkept me entertained:biggrin: ]), after seeing the Yenko Camaro, I got wondering about what kits are available of it. A quick search tells me AMT have one out later in the year, no doubt as part of the film license and there is a diecast.
So i wondered what else is available, aftermarket or otherwise?
BTW, please don't use this thread to get into a discussion about 2F2F

I believe the Yenko has been around awhile, it is prolly a reissue. There are also aftermarket Yenko decals available.
Didn't see the movie yet, it looks hokey on the advert.

Revell did a Yenko Camaro a few years back, an EXCELLENT kit. It's since been changed to a Z28/RS. Don't bother with ANY AMT Yenko's, unless they do a new one. Perhaps Revell will get the hint and re-release their Yenko.

Good thing there was mountain biking, 24 Hours Le Mans, Canada GP and modeling to keep me occupied.

LOL. I also was influenced by the one in the movie, so I redid my old Z/28 69 AMT Camaro in the style of the one from the movie. Not quite enough Yenko, but the color is close.

Look for Revell 7132, I believe it's the first kit on the Revell list. Probably what you're looking for.

I've been looking for one for quite a while, saw a few on ebay but alwayed passed them. Anyways, the latest Sport Compact Car has a few pics of the 2f2f car, which is a replica of a Yenko with the 427!
BTW, who sells the aftermarket decals?

I believe if you simply buy the 69 motion kit and add the exhaust system from the RS kit as well as add the aftermarket decals you'll have a yenko sYc. :bigthumb: I'd like a yenko or the motion kit, but I'm not going anywhere near a model store, what with my current backlog of kits.

The Baldwin-Motion car/kit came standard with the 454 reverse-scooped hood. Plus the wheel/tire combo was different (Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong :icon16: )

Model Car Garage Photo etch for the 69 Camaro has Yenko badges and a bunch of other stuff.
I got mine for the Baldwin Motion 427. It has all available engine size badges BUT the 427!
Its part number MCG2068
I bought mine from Scale Dreams.

the 1970 came with the big bad 454 but I'm not so sure about the 69 - you might be right, but the hood and tyres/wheels are different. I can't remember, but I can check a little later. hoping for a re-release now.

All you need to build this car is the Revell kit some Lemans blue paint (wait I'm not sure about that color) I will know for sure tommorow and a set of Crager mags. The decal sheet comes with decals to do a black stripe or white stripe version.

I'd avoid AMT if Revell made the same kit Chris. Go Revell if you want a Yenko.
I got to say this somewhere:
I really despise The Fast And The Furious but because it's the only series of movies being made now that is all about cars, is the only reason why I see the movies. I am yet to see the new one but I'm sure it is as stupid as the first.

Congratulations, this thread has been dead for a whole year today!!
My only suggestion is to refrain from dredging up old threads, especally to ask a pointless question.
Try searching google or ebay for the same car and see which color YOU like.

I meant to say you could use either but I didn't. Both would look good to me.
