300M v-6 temp gauge went to "HOT" in about a split second, engine died shortly after. Water level fine, no excessive heat from engine. Now engine won't start, turns over fine. Checked timing, and marks are exactly where they are supposed to be. Getting spark to plugs,---but---only 45 lbs compression in one cyl.(I only checked one) If timing belt had slipped and bent valve or valves, would I have any compression? Want next? I,m not a genius on automotive electrical things---mechcanical I can handle almost anything, but electrical?????? HELP?????? :banghead:
