Is it ok to put regular 87 unleaded gasoline into your VTEC engine. Does en1 puts fuel injector cleaner everytime you fill-up for gas.

no but thats prolly not a bad idea...

i put in fuel injector cleaner like every other or every 3rd tank... i dunno if my fuel filter is gummed up or theres dirt in my tank or what but it feels like i lose a lot of acceleration if i dont put that in pretty often... what kind of fuel injector cleaner do u use?

you guys do know that fuel injector cleaner is pure kerosene right? Some guy on superhonda who is a microbioligist did some testing ... same with lighter fluid ... also pure kerosene.

I use STP fuel injector cleaner...it's good stuff!

so i can put lighter fluid or straight kerosene in my tank and it will have the same effect? where do i buy kerosene?

Around here we got kerosene at a lot of gas stations.

And I have a clear fuel filter on my truck, I tried 87 octane and it was pretty murky. Then I put in 89 and it was crystal clear. I would suggest running 89 and forget the bottle of fuel injector cleaner. Thats what I do, but I put a bottle in every couple of months just to clear stuff up just in case.

i run 91 octane though and i still notice performance drops if i dont use the injector cleaner relatively often. do they sell it inside the station or at the pump?

same here...

chevron 91 octane every fill up. don't ruin ur motor...jus spend the extra few bucks an put in the higher gas.
