Quick 6th Gen Q?

my friend ruined his bumper on his 96 4dr civic LX, and found a 98 Civic 2dr EX bumper same color for 30 bux, are these the same, or can they not be swapped?

according to hondaautomotiveparts.com they have the same part number, so i just wanted clarification if anyone knew?

if it has the same part number i do't see why it wouldn't fit. same part number usually means same item.

well I don't know for %100, but you know they could've changed the part number just because they can, and to make us wonder why.:confused:

i'm almost positive that it will cause i think we did that to my friends civic when he wrecked it.

what he said. my boss had to fixed his wrecked 97 HX and we used a lil 98 and some 96 to do it all :D

im talking bout the rear bumper.

they should be the same anyway, Honda didnt do a design change til 99.

thats what i figured, but i know like in our cars you cant switch 2dr and 4dr shit around so i was just making sure.

well for 30 buck who really cares buy it and find out. if not 30 buck is no big loss
