Hey all.
Im new to this forum.
I'd like to know from someone who has knowlege (or maybe a consumer reports book right next to them)..
About the transmissions in a 2001 Dodge Ram Laramie, 5.2 litre engine.
Ive not had any trouble yet. But from past experience, Dodge Transmissions are primarily the first thing to go. I still love the Dodge.
Its a 2001 with 21000 miles on it. Low milage.
Just want an idea of what to expect.
Thanks in advance.

Yea, I have a 2001 1\2 ton that just turned 48,000 miles and I just fried my 3rd tranny. The first one was overhauled at 12,000 so you're lucky. If you do any kind of 4-wheeling, expect to have tranny problems in your dodge truck.
