fillin your nos bottle with co2 effect the engine in any way , to blow off, also if you refill your bottle will it do anything if there is co2 still left in it?

i herd this thing about power shifing
if your in 4th andyour about to switch gears you shift down so your rpms go way up and shift back up and you get a boost is this right or did i hear wrong if so can you tell me what its about.

Filling the bottle with CO2 will not effect the engine. Injecting CO2 into the engine will. If only for purging go wild. Injecting it into the engine, most likely, wont damage it. The only effect I see happening is the engine stalling out, as the CO2 will interfere with combustion. If there is still CO2 left in the bottle when you refill it, it shouldn't be a HUGE problem, but you if there is any significant amount left it may stall your engine. Also, you won't make as much power if there is still CO2 left in the bottle, as you won't be injecting as much nitrous. A small amount of CO2 may actually help prevent pinging, as it will help control combustion speed (Don't hold me to this though, I have never tried it).

About the power shifting, it is wrong, and it will slow you down. The two main reasons you shouldn't do that are:
1)If you are already in 4rth, chances are your RPM's are too high to be safe in a lower gear.
2)Shifting takes time. Sure, an eighth to a quarter of a second per shift doesn't sound like a lot but add that up between four shifts (1-2-3-4) and it becomes anywhere from a half a second, to a full second. Add two more shifts to that (1-2-3-4-3-5) and you have added another quarter to half of a second to your et... thats at least 3/4's of a second and at most 1 1/2, waste of time.

You may have this confused with a simple downshift. If you are cruising in 4rth, and your RPM's are low, it is true that downshifting will accellerate you faster while in the lower gear. But from a standstill (1/4 mile race scenario), the best thing to do is simply upshift through the gears, holding each gear until redline.
