I just bought this stuff from one of those hardware/home improvement stores, and it rocks!! The stuff is called "Removall 330" from a company called Napier, it comes in a spray can. Just spray it on your car model and it foams up, then come back after a few moments and the paint literally falls off!! The body is *mint*!!! The best thing is that it is not smelly, not harsh, and it is biodegradable! It works unbelievably fast. No more dunking in CSC or brake fluid for me! :iceslolan
Oh yah, it works on real cars too, so I suggest not spraying in the garage...LOL!

Indeed! I've used similar stuff on diecast, it is truly amazing...but it's dangerous, and I'd be very leery of using it on plastic. Thankfully I haven't needed to strip a plastic model of it's paint for many years now.
If this stuff is safe on plastic, it's a good thing!

The stuff is safe, it is not a degreaser or a harsh solvent... it attacks the chemical bonds that make the paint stick to the surface. Or something like that...
