how to make my 90 civic faster

i got a 90 civic lowrider but i would like to make it faster with a turbo or anything but i cant find anything good. So can any one help me out:biggrin:

If you cant find speed gear for a Honda I suggest you start actually looking. ie, there's shite loads of stuff out there, you just gotta open your eyes mate.

Yo, this guy is awsome, he's got a RAG TOP!!!!!!! Yo, how fast and how much are u willing to spend, best bang for the buck is Nitrous, but i'm a lil iffy about that myself, so i'd go with a swap w/ basic bolt ons!! Go for the ZC swap or the d16y8 swap!! and like 96 Hatch said, which model hatchie do you have?

its a dx. Money not a problem, im only 16 so i can save up. I plan on putting switches on it, would that change the speed.

switches as hydros?
if your getting hydros it might slow you down cause of weight of the hydros

yo, that paint job is icky.....and what is up with the gold spoiler, and gold bumper filler piece......you ahve to keep in mind that this is a honda civic, and not a '64 impala........lokks like one of those cars stright out of "lowrider euro", i suprised it doesnt have gold fender trim..or 13' 100 spoke daytons

If you want speed definatly don't add the switches
If it's airbags your talking about, at high speeds the slightest turn of the wheel could start a swaying causing you to go outa controle. Bags or hydros should be stuck on a show vehicle only.

But then again everyone has there own thoughts. Do what you like, not what others want.

I cant help but laugh at the fact some one put all that money into my car to make it a lowrider. here is what you do to make it fast, take an axe and chop off the "dubs", throw some gasoline on the car and light it on fire, let it cook for about an hour or until the 3 inch thick gold paint comes off, then throw the car off a cliff with you in it, to put the car out of its misery and to punish yourself for even putting that car through that.

thats a bit harsh innit, EACH TO THEIR OWN remember, msaybe ppl thing some of the stuff on ur ride is Shite,

anyway, i like the rims, IMO the car would look better in one colour, but the choice is yours

PS: im going for eurolowrider mag. pages someday :boink: With all the mods in my SIG. And a custom paint job w/custom colors by me and my dad ( Retired Auto Painter lil after i was born, to marines.. ) And i got a badass ( imo ) paintjob design lined up.

dude, thats a beautifull car, all the gold on it, damn yo thats pimpin' make it fast as fuck, but keep it as beatuifull...just get rid of the gold exterior and keep the paint job and everything else

im keep the gold under the hood and take all the gold off the exterior. Im getting a new tribal like paint job and finishing the inside.

:boink: dude it all depends on how much you wanna spend on speed......i mean if not a lot just go the usual I/H/E forum to boost you up to 15 - 20 hp...or engine swap, cams, throtte blodies, intake manifolds, supercharger, turbo, plug wires, NAME IT AND ITS YOURS!! or just strip your car down to nothing but one seat inside...you should run at least one send faster

Thats a baddass idea you got with your door speakers. I wish i could do somin like that. But my cars not gonna have THAT much audio consistancy. Im doing custom interior.. exterior.. bla bla - Hope to get it started soon. Keep up the good work with her homie, shez lookin great IMO ( in my opinion ) :wink: :smile:

im sorry for my brutal honesty, i was REALLY drunk lastnight, anyway, get rid of the gold spoiler and rear filler piece, and get the gold pieces under the hood chomed, paint the car 1 color, it it will be very nice, i even like the chrome wheels

I always find it funny that the people who like to bag on others cars are the same people who havent posted any pics of their own :loser:
