If I swap my 91 STD ECU with a PM5 will I really see any difference? And would it matter if the PM5 was from an 89 even though I have a 91?

yes you will. i know from experience.
there are a couple other things you can do to make your STD faster..
1.remove the DPI box "lid" and remove the little gold colored restrictor plate.
2. Remove the "2nd throttle plate" restrictor in teh bottom of the throttle body.
3. switch out the restrictor riser plate in between the throttle body and intake manifold with that of a DX.
4. Use a PM5 ECU
you know have a DX.

I already removed the gold restrictor plate and noticed a tiny difference...maybe it is in my head but there was no use for that plate there anyway...
How do you remove the 2nd throttle plate? Can you describe how to do it? I have a line on an 89 PM5 for 10 bucks so I guess all I need is the restrictor riser plate? Is that hard to do as well? Thanks for your help!
